Healthcare Assistant travels between clients' residences to deliver personalised support, ensuring everyone in our care receives the care they need in the comfort of their own home. Flexible working hours availableAssisting clients with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)Supporting clients with mobility and transfersPreparing meals and supporting with feeding if requiredProviding companionship and emotional supportSupporting medication prompts/remindersCarrying out light household duties (tidying, laundry, etc. )Promoting client independence and dignity at all timesReporting concerns or changes in health to the office promptlyAccurately recording visit notes and care updatesRequirements & Qualifications: Desirable:
2 modules of QQI Level 5 in Healthcare (Care Skills/Healthcare Support and Care of the Older Person) Previous experience as a Healthcare assistant (personal or professional experience)ORNo experience, caring personality, good character and willingness to complete a minimum of 2 modules of QQI Level 5 in HealthcareEssential RequirementsVery good spoken and written EnglishAvailability to work at least every second weekendLiving in D7, D9 or D11Make a difference in someone's life with Bluebird Care Dublin North.
