ContextAs part of a corporate transformation initiative in the Property & Casualty (P&C) domain, a growing team of Product Owners is seeking reinforcement. The selected candidate will join a team of four Product Owners and collaborate closely with underwriting teams, product management, and IT departments. The role involves overseeing development progress, managing priorities across multiple stakeholders, and coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT). This is a strategic position within a dynamic environment focused on delivering impactful digital solutions aligned with business goals.
DescriptionThe Product Owner will be responsible for driving the product vision and ensuring that development efforts align with user needs and business objectives. This includes managing the product backlog, defining user stories, and working with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features. The role requires a strong understanding of agile methodologies and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable development tasks. Role and ResponsibilitiesIncorporate feature requests into the product roadmap. Groom and prioritize the product backlog. Develop user stories and define clear acceptance criteria. Set sprint goals and ensure alignment with business priorities. Write acceptance tests and validate deliverables.
Plan product releases and upgrades. Monitor sprint progress and address production issues. Analyze end-user preferences and feedback. Refine agile practices based on team performance and client input. Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies. ProfileMinimum 5 years of experience as a Product Owner in an agile environment. Proven track record managing all stages of the product lifecycle. Strong technical background with knowledge of software development and web technologies. Experience in coordinating UAT and working with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with Agile frameworks and tools (e. g. , Scrum, Kanban, Jira). Ability to analyze and synthesize user feedback into actionable insights.
Strong team spirit and excellent communication skills. Well-organized and capable of managing multiple priorities. Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
