Position Summary: We are seeking a passionate, talented and experienced Chef de Cuisine to lead our kitchen team. The ideal candidate is a creative culinary leader who is deeply committed to sustainability, local sourcing, and innovative presentation. You’ll have the freedom to design seasonal menus that highlight the island’s produce, seafood, and spices, infused with European refinement. Key Responsibilities: Lead all aspects of kitchen operations in a high-end, fine dining environment.
Design and execute innovative, seasonal menus blending Caribbean ingredients with European techniques. Foster relationships with local farmers, fishers, and producers to maintain our "island-to-table" philosophy. Train and mentor kitchen staff to the highest standards of culinary excellence and hygiene. Control food and labor costs while maintaining top-quality presentation and taste. Ensure consistent quality, portioning, and plating across all dishes. Collaborate with restaurant owners on menu planning, event catering, and guest experiences. Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Head Chef or Executive Sous Chef in a fine dining. Culinary degree or equivalent professional training.
Strong understanding of European cuisine, with the ability to adapt to local ingredients. Passion for sustainability, creativity, and innovation in the kitchen. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to relocate and work full-time in Grenada.
