You will be responsible for setting the strategy for courier acquisition, engagement and performance across all countries focused on improving service and efficiency. You will be focused on building operational excellence playbooks and making sure we are achieving global KPIs.
On top of this you will also be responsible for all asset management and logistics making sure our merchants get tablets and couriers get their equipment. You will be a member of the Global Delivery Management Team managing a team of around 20 people divided into; Courier Acquisition & Engagement, Courier Performance, Analytics and Excellence. Generating impact across 16 countries. Main tasks and responsibilities: Main Responsibilities: You will be the functional expert for all things couriers. You will make sure we are achieving operational KPIs and working out where we can invest to improve performance.
You will be working closely with country teams to help them achieve the key operational metrics and direct them on the key things to focus on. You’ll be responsible for setting the strategy for how we improve our service while also improving the operational efficiency of our operations. You will be designing, building and iterating on operational playbooks to improve our performance at different stages of a city’s lifecycle.
You will work closely with the Product team to design our courier product strategy, roll out key new products and make sure we are improving the overall courier proposition while remaining compliant. You will manage all of our assets and logistics distribution so our couriers can have the correct kit and merchants have tablets, while looking to improve the efficiency of our logistics network. About you: You have 10+ years of experience in Operations leading large teams with experience in operating in matrix structures driving results across multiple geographies. You enjoy switching from small to high scale and vice versa.

You focus on building clear simple processes built on first principles and you continuously look to optimize to drive out 1% improvements. You are a leader who uses your people skills to drive change and develop your team. You know how to navigate ambiguity and to influence stakeholders based on evidence, commitment and subject matter expertise.
