Our client, a well-established company in Tampa, FL, is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join their growing Accounting team. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Salary/Hourly Rate$22/hr - $26/hrPosition OverviewThe Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and supporting the accounting team in day-to-day financial operations.Responsibilities Of The Bookkeeper Process and record daily financial transactions. Reconcile bank and credit card accounts monthly. Manage accounts payable and receivable functions. Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger. Support month-end and year-end closing processes. Assist in preparing reports for management and auditors. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in accounting software. Required Experience/Skills for the Bookkeeper: 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience. Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software. Strong Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables). High attention to detail and accuracy. Preferred Experience/Skills for the Bookkeeper: Experience in small business or multi-entity bookkeeping. Familiarity with payroll processing. Education Requirements: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
