Bookkeeper - Dublin City Centre OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and detail-focused Bookkeeper to support the day-to-day financial operations of a growing business. The ideal candidate is organised, accurate, and confident in maintaining financial records, supporting month-end processes, and ensuring smooth financial administration across the company.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess supplier invoices, credit notes, and payments.Raise customer invoices, record receipts, and follow up on outstanding debt.Maintain accurate AP and AR ledgers and resolve discrepancies.Reconcile supplier statements and respond to related queries.Complete weekly and monthly bank reconciliations across multiple accounts.Monitor cashflow and highlight unusual activity or issues.Manage petty cash, company card reconciliations, and lodgements.Prepare and process journals including accruals, prepayments, and adjustments.Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions in the accounting system.Support the preparation of month-end accounts and management reporting packs.Assist with VAT returns, payroll support data, and statutory compliance.Requirements2–4 years’ experience in bookkeeping, accounts administration, or a similar finance role.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial record-keeping.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar).Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail.Excellent organisational and communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
