The ideal candidate is a highly driven and strategic leader with extensive experience in supermarket management, financial oversight, and operational excellence. With a customer-centric approach, the company considers every customer, employee, and vendor as part of its extended family and strives to maintain the highest level of service and operational efficiency.Responsibilities:Maintain accurate financial records, including sales, purchases, and expensesReview monthly vendor statementsProcess invoices, purchase orders, and vendor paymentsTrack inventory costs and assist with shrinkage reportingPrepare weekly and monthly financial reports for managementAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and year-end financial reviewsMonitor and reconcile accounts receivable/payableEnsure compliance with tax laws and financial regulationsCollaborate with auditors and external accountants as neededAdditional duties as requested by your supervisor. RequirementsQualifications:Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role, preferably in a retail or supermarket environmentProficiency in accounting software (NetSuite and Tipalti) and Microsoft ExcelStrong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principlesHigh attention to detail and accuracyGood organizational and time management skillsAssociate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
