As a relatively young charity (10 years old), there are still so many ways to grow and improve what we do – and we are looking for people who would relish the challenge of being a part of this phase.The Bookkeeper role is a permanent full-time position based onsite at our office in Virginia, Queensland. This role will report to our Chief Financial Officer and support bookkeeping and financial operations.In this role you will have responsibility for undertaking the following functions:Accounts receivableAccounts payable Bank reconciliationsCredit card reconciliationsCreate purchase ordersPrepare & process weekly payment runs Process fortnightly payrollEnd of month procedures & financial reportingManagement of EFTPOS machinesAny other bookkeeping functions or activities requiredYou will be someone who can bring their attention to detail, can-do attitude, ability to multi-task and proven experience and skills to help us achieve our goals. You will be a collaborative team player who pitches in when needed in a small team.Being adaptable, flexible, positive, and enthusiastic is a must.
