Job Title: Bookkeeping Specialist -US BasedJob Type: Full-Time, OnsiteLocation: Plaza ONE, Next to PSO Pump, Main GT Road, Near DHA Phase 2 Gate 1, IslamabadWorking Hours: 2 PM – 11 PM (Pakistan Standard Time)Job Overview:We are seeking a ACCA or CA qualified (can be PQ as well) Bookkeeping Specialist to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a Chartered Accountant with 3+ years of experience, including strong hands-on expertise in full charge bookkeeping, US GAAP, and QuickBooks and Xero.The selected candidate will manage the complete bookkeeping and accounting lifecycle for international clients. This includes overseeing accounts receivable/payable, payroll processing, reconciliations, and preparing financial statements all while maintaining high levels of accuracy and professionalism. A deep understanding of accounting principles, especially within a U.S. GAAP framework, is essential.Key ResponsibilitiesFull Charge BookkeepingEnd-to-end bookkeeping for multiple international clientsMaintain accuracy and compliance with applicable standards (especially US GAAP)Ensure timely month-end and year-end closingsAccounts Payable & ReceivableOversee client invoicing, billing cycles, and collectionsManage vendor payments and ensure timely processing of APReconciliationsConduct regular reconciliations of bank, credit card, and other general ledger accountsIdentify and resolve discrepancies promptlyPayroll ProcessingAdminister payroll processes and reporting for clientsEnsure compliance with applicable laws and accurate compensation recordingFinancial ReportingPrepare and analyze financial statementsDeliver insights and recommendations to clients for better financial decisionsClient CommunicationAct as the main financial point of contact for clientsProvide responsive, high-quality support and financial guidanceQualificationsChartered Accountant (CA) – Active qualificationStrong understanding of US GAAP and international accounting standardsHands-on experience with QuickBooks Online, Xero, and ExcelHigh attention to detail, strong analytical and organizational skillsStrong communication skills particularly in a client-facing environmentAbility to work independently and manage multiple client accounts simultaneouslyExperience RequirementsMinimum 3 years of professional accounting/bookkeeping experiencePrior experience in a reputable accounting firm is highly preferredStrong command over cloud-based accounting platforms and toolsMust have experience managing multiple clients' financials concurrentlyDemonstrated ability to work with U.S.-based clients and within U.S. accounting frameworks
