Job Number: R0223176Electrical Asset PlannerKey Role: Solve difficult problems affecting the force by developing innovative solutions, including fire detection, lighting, alarms, and interior electrical systems. Solve problems regarding medium voltage electrical utility distribution systems and associated real property and RPIE. Manage assets including facility electrical systems, overhead and underground distribution lines, electrical manholes, ducts, transformers, switches, junctions, substations, switching stations, generation plants, backup generators, utility poles, area lighting, including roads, parking lots, security, apron, and recreational, and grounding, bonding and cathodic protection systems for utilities. Work with electrical service entrances exceeding 600 volts.
Maintain responsibility for arc flash, relay coordination, and electrical system modeling programs. Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with specific subsystem portfolio of assets for the subtask, such as structures, facility electrical, and water utilityExperience in using Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and OutlookExperience with knowledge management and requirements and optimization activities, engineering principles and practices, and civil engineer, public works or government or private sector work control, customer service, and operations or maintenance management procedures, and functions and procedures of each type of work centerKnowledge of Air Force, Navy, Army, or government or private sector instructions, practices, and procedures pertaining to civil engineering or public works operationsKnowledge of program planning and budgeting cycles, financial control, and budget systems, work classifications and the regulatory and statutory restrictions on the expenditures of appropriated and non-appropriated funds, automated data processing system capabilities, real property management, and economic usage to effectively accomplish assigned functionsKnowledge of analytical and diagnostic methods, procedures, and principles, and surveying methods, equipment, and techniques of measurements to identify project requirements, and Computerized Maintenance Management and Sustainment Management Systems, system capabilities, and economic usage to effectively accomplish assigned functionsAbility to research, analyze, interpret, and apply rules, regulations, and procedures in a variety of situations, and recommend timely and economical solutions, and manipulate data use macros and formulas, pivots tables and charts, perform data analysis, and build effective presentationsSecret clearanceBachelor’s degree in an electrical engineering fieldCompletion of training in Advanced Building Inspection, Electrical Inspection, Plumbing Inspection, Americans with Disabilities Act Building Requirements, Mechanical Code, and Energy RegulationsAdditional Qualifications:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500. 00 to $176,000. 00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
