Job DetailsIT Desktop SupportWe are seeking an enthusiastic and capable IT Desktop Support Officer to join our dynamic IT Systems team based at our corporate head office in Somersby. In this hands-on role, you’ll deliver high-quality technical support to our team across both remote and face-to-face channels. Key ResponsibilitiesProviding prompt and professional desktop support to end-usersManaging and resolving incidents, problems, and service requestsDiagnosing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issuesInstalling, configuring, and maintaining desktops, laptops, and end-user devicesMonitoring critical infrastructure and escalating issues as neededContinuously learning and upskilling in emerging technologiesAbout YouWe are looking for someone who brings a balance of technical know-how and exceptional customer service. To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have1–2 years of experience in a Desktop Support or Service Desk position (essential)A strong customer-focused mindset with excellent communication skillsGood working knowledge of hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals)Experience in software installation, configuration, and troubleshootingProficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and common business applicationsBasic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN)Solid troubleshooting skills and a methodical approach to problem solvingStrong time management skills and the ability to work independentlyWho This Role Is Perfect ForThis is not an entry-level role.
