We are proud to be the preferred logistics partner of the life science industry and healthcare professionals for more than 4,000 companies worldwide.Overall MissionResponsible for the Sales and P&L of the CRYOPDP Belgium branch, leading the Operations and Customer Experience teams. Responsible for optimizing performance in terms of service delivery and cost efficiency. Supports business development opportunities and ensures compliance with group QRA & SHE policies.Main ContributionP&L:Accountable for the P&L performance of Belgium branches in terms of EBIT and cost control and avoidance.Operations:Lead the day to day Operations to deliver services of the highest quality, as recognized as such by our external clients and internal stakeholdersProvide support and guidance to the logistics team in finding smart solutions, answering customers AD HOC / non standard needs (in a proactive manner)Deliver financial results of the Operational Network at or better than approved budgetsReduce fixed costs and increase gross margin working on solutions to establish new cost efficient routes, negotiating with providers, etc..Manage the relationship with service providers in partnership with Global Vendor ManagerMonitor Performance and KPIs to track service and cost efficiency (internally and with external service providers concerned)Drive continuous improvement initiatives for enhancing the financial and service performanceQA & SHE Ensure that all employees and service partners fully comply with CRYOPDP quality assurance standards and processes (including ISO 9001:2015 and GDP).Build and lead an operational network for sharing and harmonizing GDP compliance across BelgiumEnsure safe, healthy and environmentally responsible facilities, operations and staff conditions as per group standardsEnsure compliance to group Regulatory Affair policies Sales supportParticipation in tenders / projects both in Belgium and GloballySupport business development initiatives to identify major customers and opportunities to grow the businessDay to day quoting on new business or additional work for existing customers HRManage and develop staff individually and collectively as a high performing team in line with HR PolicyResponsible for the talent acquisition for operational staff, building a strong operational talent poolRequired SkillsBroad operational experience, financial and people management (5/10 years), with 2 years minimum mandatory in people management, ideally within a premium logistics provider, dedicated to the life science industry.Dutch & English mandatory (French is a strong plus)Specific Experience & Knowledge RequiredExpert in Premium Logistics / Healthcare R&D temperature control logisticsKnowledge in Cold chain management & temperature controlled packaging solutionsStrong in International LogisticsStrong in Quality Assurance management (ISO 9001:2015)Good knowledge in GDP (Good Distribution Practices) and Cold ChainIATA Dangerous Goods trainingExcellent knowledge of CRYOPDP’s offeringProject management skillsStrong experience in Customs (import & export)Strong financial acumenInterpersonal SkillsStrong in People management,Solutions and customers oriented: always ready to find solutions for enhancing customer satisfactionCommitment to provide high quality of serviceEnthusiasm and involvementTeam playerCommercial acumen (customers/performance profitability )Management by objectives and organisational skillsAbility to inspire and “Make it happen”Innovative & proactive
