This individual will be responsible for the development and implementation of brand and marketing plans for marketed products, pipeline products and end of lifecycle planning. This position reports into Business Operations.Ensure PDT plans are developed, implemented and monitored in conjunction with relevant cross functional teams and aligned with the Global brand strategy and Regional execution guidance.For this role, we are seeking a candidate who can also lead the launch of new products and brings a strong interest in commercial activities, such as tenders.OBJECTIVES:Develop and implement short-, medium- and long-term marketing plans and launch plan for the assigned brands of PDT in Belgium, to optimize profit, revenue, and market share opportunities in the short-, medium- and long-term.Co-develop the strategic operational plan with the cross-functional team, drive the marketing strategy and tactics execution utilizing OCE and co-creation of initiatives, taking into consideration customer segments and profiles.Build and manage strong relationships with key stakeholders within the Belgian IG environment to build our position in the selected disease areas.Lead the launch of new products and bring a strong interest in commercial activities, such as tenders.TASKS:Business Strategy and Management:Lead the development and implementation of the Belgian PDT Brand/launch Plan including Omni-Channel Engagement Strategy.Leads cross functional teams in brand planning to provide accurate and clear market and brand history, current environment, and future potentialResponsible for leading the development and execution of brand tactics, including conference and booth planning, industry meetings and sponsorships.Monitors and maintains brand promotional and annual budget.Closely monitor environmental changes and create local strategy plan.Develop, prepare and execute assigned new indications launch strategies.Identify actions to strengthen product positioning to maximize brand performance. Anticipate and capitalize on stakeholders’ market trends to create a competitive advantage. Monitor on-going developments in the external health policy landscape and act as a sparring partner and source of information for internal functions.Contribute to MRP & LRF based on units, revenue, patients and total portfolio overview.Understand and contribute to pricing & contract strategies within HCOs & buying groupsTranslate market developments to and manage monthly demand forecast to IG production planning.Initiate and achieve the above through effective liaising, networking, and working relationships with the LOCs and other relevant stakeholders.Promote and drive Agile WoW.Support KAM(s) in building and executing on OCE account plans.Communication:Develop and maintain strong, effective, and constructive team relationships and KOL networks.Ensure effective communication with all relevant internal and external key stakeholders.Identify and raise relevant issues, and propose potential solutions, through the appropriate internal and external channels.Achieve best-in-class customer focus with significant dedicated time for regular interactions with HCPs.Risk Management and control:Support the Business Operations Head in managing the company’s risk profile including, (where appropriate), Code of Conduct and the Health and Safety performance of the business.Utilize market insights to assess business risks and opportunities.Proactively identify brand opportunities and issues that require further analysis and action to create new approaches or new market opportunities.Operate in a manner that is always in line with compliance and legal requirements and according to the marketing and sales strategies.PROFILE:Education:University or Bachelor degree in the field of commercial, marketing, healthcare or scienceRequired language skills:Fluent (written & spoken) in English, Dutch & FrenchKnowledge & Experience:At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally with commercial experience and ideally within the immunoglobulin business in BelgiumStrong experience and knowledge of brand and pharmaceutical marketing (min 3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical industry)Previous experience managing tenders or working in a commercial environment is a plus, or Demonstrated interest and learning agility to develop expertise in these areasBusiness acumen and ability to understand and actively contribute to the management of a P&LProven experience of implementing omni-channel marketingExperience of building co-created initiatives with key health care stakeholders (i.e. KOLs) in order to find ‘win-win-win’Demonstrated experience in strategic roles and leadership of cross-functional teams, processes, projectsUnderstanding of the Belgian health care environmentIn-depth knowledge of applicable laws, regulations and codes for pharmaceutical industry in BelgiumUnderstanding the decision-making units and an ability to manage complex and dynamic workLeadership Skills & Behaviors:Independent, focused, strong executor with high level of initiative in problem-solvingInfluence and lead without authorityPioneering, growth mindset and high learning agility in fast moving environment - quickly adapts to new technologies, therapeutic areas, customer insights, and market dynamics.Ability to implement strong can-do attitude in diverse teams and new environmentBusiness acumen and entrepreneurship to contribute to the commercially plan that exceeds customer expectationsFocused approach to align execution with brand strategy and account plansCommunication & strong interpersonal skills with an ability to influence others at high levelDigitally Curious & Agile Embraces emerging technologies and digital tools to enhance brand strategy and execution.
