As our first Brand and Retention Manager, you won’t just be marketing a product—you’ll shape a brand that people trust, talk about, and bet on and lead the go-to-market, brand, and player lifecycle strategy. This is a rare ground-floor opportunity to define brand DNA, lead creative output, that has potential to grow into a Head of Marketing and Director-level leadership as the company scales over time. This role will be responsible for building, managing, and scaling a high-performance marketing function that delivers measurable growth through data-driven, digital-first campaigns. You will act as a key voice in the leadership team, responsible for shaping both short-term marketing execution and long-term strategic positioning of the brand in a highly competitive, crypto-native iGaming landscape. You will oversee all retention, brand, and market localisation teams. The role requires strong knowledge of Web-native marketing tactics, iGaming compliance, crypto trends and user behaviour. This is a hybrid role where in-office time is recognised as highly valuable in the preliminary stages of our start up to build and shape the foundations of the novel Marketing and other teams yet we support flexibility where and when required. Key value elements Create Brand consistency & trust-building across all touchpoints.Develop Retention marketing strategies that increase LTV and reduce churn.Push Community building via events, social media, influencers, and in-platform engagement.Create Player reactivation programs to win back dormant users.Develop and evolve a brand strategy that balances fun, trust, and innovationLead the content and communications calendar as well as commercial events calendar.Build and manage a marketing budgetManage creative production, internal or via agency/freelancersSupport growth team with branded campaign assets and messagingDevelop a player-focused brand that resonates in crypto gaming communities and internally through our employer branding alikeMonitor brand performance and sentiment in real-time (Reddit, Discord, X)Drive consistency across touchpoints: website, platform, ads, influencer scriptsBuild and lead a Brand and Retention teamSupport People and Operations departments in initiatives related to Employer Branding as well as commercial branding strategies, techniques and resources.Work closely with CFO CLO and CPO to ensure tight knit strategy encompassing overarching company directives and conformity.Travel as extensively as required to support the launch, events management and initiatives success.Experience & Background Required5–7+ years of experience in retention, CRM, or lifecycle marketing within iGaming, online casinos, sports betting, or digital-first consumer platforms (fintech, gaming, e-commerce, entertainment).Proven track record in building and executing retention, loyalty, and CRM strategies that increase LTV, reduce churn, and drive player reactivation.Strong expertise with CRM automation platforms (e.g., Braze, Optimove, Salesforce Marketing Cloud) including email, SMS, push, and in-app messaging.Solid experience designing and managing loyalty and VIP programs, especially in highly competitive gaming/entertainment markets.Demonstrated success in community building — leveraging social media, influencers, events, and in-platform engagement.Deep understanding of South Asian player behavior, gaming preferences, and cultural nuances to tailor engagement and loyalty campaigns.Strong analytical background: able to segment audiences, track retention KPIs (churn, ARPU, engagement rates, cohort analysis), and optimize based on insights.Experience managing creative brand consistency across multiple touchpoints (ads, emails, social, in-platform).Leadership experience in building and scaling cross-functional teams, including design, CRM, comms, social, and loyalty specialists.Knowledge of responsible gaming and compliance frameworks for communication in the iGaming and crypto space.Comfortable in a fast-paced start-up environment, with proven ability to prioritize, adapt, and deliver under pressure.
