Job Title: Brand Designer, Lifecycle & GrowthLocation: 100% RemoteHours: 40 hours/week (PST preferred)Start Date: ASAPDuration: 6+ month contractCompensation: $165/hr W2About the RoleWe're looking for a hands-on, strategic Brand Designer to own the end-to-end design of lifecycle and growth initiatives. This is not a framework-only role—you'll be responsible for both building scalable design systems and producing the actual creative output across emails, newsletters, and lifecycle campaigns.You'll collaborate with Growth Marketing, Product Marketing, and Creative teams to translate complex lifecycle goals into thoughtful, impactful design that drives engagement and retention. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, iterative environment, can connect the dots between business objectives and visual execution, and is equally comfortable thinking strategically and executing at a high level of craft.Day to DayOwn the full lifecycle design process—from strategy and concept through execution and delivery.Build and maintain lifecycle design systems, templates, and component libraries for scalability.Design assets for lifecycle and growth programs, including newsletters, emails, GIFs, product imagery, and campaign visuals.Collaborate with marketing and lifecycle teams to train others on how to use templates and self-serve design assets.Partner cross-functionally to review lifecycle strategies, understand audiences and goals, and contribute to campaign direction.Implement best practices for A/B testing, accessibility, and performance-driven design.Work within platforms such as HubSpot and Iterable to ensure seamless design execution and delivery.Manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment with minimal direction.Top Must-Haves7+ years of Brand Design experience with a strong focus on lifecycle and growth.5+ years of experience in enterprise B2B SaaS or top-tier B2C tech companies with complex, multi-audience lifecycle systems.Proven ability to own the lifecycle design process end-to-end from systems building to creative production.Deep experience with HubSpot, Iterable, or similar lifecycle marketing platforms.Expert proficiency in Figma, including components, variables, and scalable design systems.Strong understanding of HTML/CSS and email rendering best practices.Experience creating A/B tests and applying data insights to drive design improvements.Portfolio demonstrating projects you've built and owned, showcasing strong visual craft and systematic thinking.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, scrappy environment with limited briefs or structure—able to self-direct and push for clarity.Strategic thinker who reads and understands the "why” behind lifecycle flows and isn't afraid to refine creative direction to reach the right outcomes.Nice-to-HavesMotion or GIF design experience for lifecycle and product campaigns.Familiarity with email accessibility and inclusive design standards.Experience with personalization and dynamic content in lifecycle marketing.Understanding of design tokens and modular system architecture.Benefits:This role is eligible to enroll in both Mondo's health insurance plan and retirement plan.
