Brand Finance Controller

Job Description – Brand Finance ControllerKey Responsibilities - Financial Reporting Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP or IFRS. Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes. Develop and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholdersBudgeting & Forecasting Lead the budgeting process, including the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets Provide accurate financial forecasts, variance analysis, and financial planning Identify trends and provide recommendations to improve financial performanceInternal Controls Establish and maintain a robust system of internal controls to safeguard company assets Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws, and company policies Oversee internal and external audits and implement corrective actions as neededCash Flow Management Monitor and manage the brand's cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operations Optimize working capital and develop strategies for cash flow improvement Manage relationships with banks and financial institutionsFinancial Strategy Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies aligned with business goals Evaluate financial risks and opportunities, providing insights for decision-makingQualification - Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 2-3 years ina controllership role Industry: Experience in e-commerce or retail business in a plus Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
