The job will be located in Basel, Switzerland. Internal Job Grade Range: 12-13.How will you contribute to this role?:The person will be part of an international group working on new product development for Europe and on Global projects for the Oral Care category. The role reports into the Colgate Whitening EU Senior Marketing ManagerThe principal duties and responsibilities are:Growing the Colgate whitening franchise: developing the European strategy, innovation pipeline and communication plans that will drive business and share of market growth of our whitening business for the region. Strategically partnering with Enterprise Oral Care (EOC), agency and hub brand teams to strengthen our plans and advance our whitening thought leadershipDevelop and Execute Brand strategies & plans for whitening, incl. driving perceivable superiority for our product lines to meet business objectivesLead and coordinate bundle development with R&D, Regulatory, Legal, Supply Chain and Packaging teamsInteract with outside consultants including advertising agencies, public relations firms, market research consultants as per project needsWhat are the required skills and competencies?:Good marketing and commercial capabilities, with the ability to translate a marketing plan into a sound commercial rationale and plan of actionDisplays a strong growth mindset, and ability to deal with ambiguityPeople centric and ability to connect the dotsRelationship building, influence and negotiation, excellent written and verbal communication skills and decision-making and analytical competencies incl. adoption of AI toolsStrong project management and business strategy planning skills, at national, regional and practice area levels Motivated, high energy, confident, with powerful initiativeWhat are the required qualifications?:Minimum 5-8 years of progressive relevant marketing experience; specific experience on innovation would be preferable. Functional experience in marketing/ implementation of successful marketing plans, new products, digital campaign developmentExperience in managing relationships with senior individuals and within a demanding and fast paced environment Experience in managing complex projects and external suppliers Seeking for an international career path, open to experiences in different markets and environments.
