SummaryThe Brand Manager will be a key member of the Marketing team, reporting to the Director of Brand Marketing, and partnering closely with the sales team on strategy, development, and execution of 360-degree programs across consumer touchpoints. This role will oversee the development and execution of complex annual marketing plans and long-term brand plans by leveraging consumer, category, and market insights to drive brand results.
The role will be a critical owner of a national brand strategy, leading initiatives like best-in-class displays, partnerships, retail media, and trade programs to meet business objectives. This is a multi-faceted role requiring strong communication, multi-tasking and follow through. Working closely with the Director of Brand Marketing, success looks like developing, supporting and executing omnichannel marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility, drive sales, and improve the overall brand experience. ResponsibilitiesMarketing Planning and Execution:
Support Director of Brand Marketing with strategic planning through building annual plans by leveraging insights, retailer strategies, and emerging trendsOversee development and lead strategic brand planning and tactical promotions.
Includes creative ideation, writing briefs and trafficking through to completion/final deliveryTranslate consumer trade insights into actionable brand strategies that strengthen brand positioning and deliver on business goalsExecute national chain programs through partnership and coordination with distributors across the countryBusiness Management And ReportingMonitor and report out on brand performance using sales data, depletion trends, and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunitiesDevelop and inform internal presentations and business updates for senior leadership, synthesizing key insights into clear recommendationsManage a national brand’s budget and P&L, and strive for positive ROI across investmentsCommercialization ManagementManage day-to-day execution of brand initiatives and projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are metCoordinate with external agency partners - including creative, media, and activation agencies – to ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all touchpointsManage projects and leads innovation process with cross-functional teams to commercialize new products, develop sales tools, and execute marketing tacticsPartner with marketing and sales teams to develop impactful in-store POS/messaging along the consumer’s path to purchase; delivers go-to-market materials on timePartner with sales teams to brief, develop and execute shopper marketing programs during key drive periodsAssist on other team projects/initiatives as neededRequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
