We dig into complex issues, challenge assumptions, and engage in honest, constructive debate because rigorous thinking makes our work stronger.About the roleWe’re looking for a creative and driven content specialist to help deliver standout commercial campaigns across our leading business and finance titles Business Builders, Startup Daily, SmartCompany, Flying Solo and Your Money & Your Life.This role suits an early-career professional who’s a strong writer, strategic thinker and proactive collaborator with proven experience creating engaging, multi-format content. You’ll work with the Head of Commercial Media and the implementation team to bring client briefs to life through high-quality, on-brief content from articles and videos to podcasts, webinars and social campaigns.What you’ll be doingDevelop and execute creative, on-brief commercial content across articles, newsletters, videos, podcasts, and social campaigns.Collaborate with the brand partnerships and implementation teams to plan and deliver high-performing client campaigns.Manage content production, including writing, SEO, image selection, and briefing external contributors.Create and schedule EDMs, newsletters, and multi-channel content marketing campaigns.Use data insights to optimise performance and contribute to campaign reporting.Work closely with content, production, and sales teams to ensure quality, accuracy, and timely delivery.What you'll bringYou’ll thrive in this role if you’re a strong writer and creative thinker with: 2-3 years of professional experience in a content-driven role, preferably within a digital publishing, media or marketing environment.Exceptional writing, editing and communication skills, with a genuine interest in Australia’s small business and startup ecosystem.Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle deadlines and priorities with ease.A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and great attention to detail.Flexibility under pressure and confidence working in a fast-paced environment.Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work seamlessly across teams.Experience using Content Management Systems and basic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Photoshop.This is a full-time hybrid role with three days a week based in our Barangaroo office in Sydney. Salary to be commensurate with experience.
