It is how we work, consistently, be it towards the company, our colleagues or our customers.Job DescriptionConducting Independent Reviews as Assurance Analyst.Conduct periodic, risk-based reviews of various components of the bank's AML and Fraud programs. This include testing the effectiveness of control and monitoring process by reviewing end to end AML related process.Reviewing and validating control executions pertaining to AML and Fraud operations have been in accordance with bank’s standards in timely manner.Identifying and defining gaps in existing internal controls for root cause analysis, as well as assessing controls effectiveness in line with business strategies and risks framework.Providing concrete recommendations for improvement after identifying issues.Monitoring on the Remediation. Assurance team responsible for following up to ensure that the business units have addressed the issues and implemented the recommended remediations. This involves monitoring the progress of remediation plans.collaborate with Business units and Functional units formulating controls improvement.Prepare Assurance result updates to be presented in AML and Fraud Forum.Timely escalation of any issue or control gaps.RequirementsBachelor’s Degree from reputable university.3+ years of experience in the financial services industry or consulting firm preferably in assurance, risk and control, or audit related function.Strong knowledge in Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF) are a plus.Solid understanding of banking products, customer due diligence (CDD), and Know Your Customer (KYC) processes.Strong Analytical and Investigative Skills. BRCM Assurance must have strong analytical and investigative abilities. This involves reviewing, identifying unusual patterns or red flags, and conducting thorough due diligence.Effective Communication both verbal and written as well as prepares the Assurance Reporting. BRCM Assurance must be able to document investigative findings, prepare detailed reports for management and collaborate with various internal departments clearly and concisely.Proficient in creating professional presentations using PowerPoint for data visualization.Possess self-driven, proactivity and self-motivation for improvements in a fast-paced environment.Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and priorities under tight deadlines with controlled stressed level.Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.High integrity and commitment to ethical standards and regulatory complianceAdditional RequirementsDevelop, Engage, Execute, StrategiseBe a Part of the UOB FamilyUOB is an equal opportunity employer.
