Your expertise and skills will help Dümmen Orange stay ahead in a competitive global market, while also reinforcing our commitment to excellence, sustainability, and innovation.Your Tasks And/or Responsibilities IncludeSupport the execution of breeding plans for Rose;Maintain and update selection data using breeding software tools;Conduct greenhouse phenotyping using established protocols;Prepare trial materials, including lists and labels, in alignment with breeder instructions;Assist with hand-pollinations and controlled crosses in the greenhouse.Your profileYou play an important role in bringing new rose varieties to life. You are a hands-on and accurate professional who enjoys working together with colleagues in a lively, practical environment. You like to take responsibility, can easily switch gears when needed, and stay calm and positive even during busy periods. With your eye for detail and team spirit, you help ensure that every step in the breeding process runs smoothly — contributing directly to beautiful results that make a difference.Furthermore Youhave a Bachelor’s degree in Plant Breeding with at least 1 year of experience in a comparable role;are fluent in English (both written and verbal); Dutch is an advantage;enjoy a mix of greenhouse and desk-based work;are motivated to learn all aspects of Rose breeding at Dümmen Orange.What we offerPassion for the craft, teamwork and transparency define our ways-of-working.
