About The RoleJob Purpose As a dispatch & receiving clerk you play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and products in and out of the factory. Your purpose is to maintain accuracy, efficiency, and safety in logistics operations, which directly impacts production timelines and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: Receive tyre casings and verify quantities against waybills from branch deliveries.
Cross-check job cards against waybills and submit validated records to the admin clerk for system capture. Accept deliveries of rubber, bonding agents, and consumables, ensuring consistency with invoices. Conduct weekly inventory counts of customer casings, rubber stock, and consumables. Coordinate daily dispatch of casings to the Windhoek branch. Prepare and hand over complete documentation (job tickets, invoices, and waybills) to drivers. Ensure casings are organized by branch for easy retrieval and production readiness. Maintain cleanliness and order within the factory cage and storage areas. Stack casings methodically to allow efficient identification during retreading processes.
Secure factory premises by ensuring all entry points are locked at all times. Receive job cards from the factory manager punctually to prepare casings for upcoming production schedules. Undertake reasonable tasks and instructions provided verbally or in writing, aligning with the scope of the position. Adhere to Health & Safety standards in the workplace and avoid endangering others. Qualifications & Experience RequiredEducation, Master, other certification: Experience (years): Grade 12 certificateComputer literacyExperience in the tyre industry will be an advantage.
