They are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Financial Controller on a part-time basis to strengthen our internal financial capability and provide strategic financial support to the leadership team. Role OverviewReporting directly to the Managing Director, the Financial Controller will play a key role in overseeing and improving the financial operations of the business. This position is ideal for a qualified finance professional who thrives in a hands-on environment and has a commercial mindset.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare accurate and timely monthly management accountsDevelop and maintain cash flow forecasts, budgets, and financial projectionsOversee financial controls, processes, and risk management frameworksMonitor cost structures and provide analysis to support pricing and margin decisionsEnsure compliance with all statutory obligations, including VAT, PAYE, and year-end accountsLiaise with external accountants, auditors, and financial institutionsProvide financial insight and support to inform strategic planning and business growth initiativesIdentify and implement improvements to financial systems and reporting toolsCandidate ProfileQualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)Minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience, ideally within an SME environment ideallyStrong technical accounting and commercial finance skillsProficient in accounting software and ExcelHigh level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detailExcellent communication skills and ability to work independentlyComfortable operating at both strategic and operational levelsWhat is on OfferFlexible hybrid working (3 days per week)Salary €80,000 -€90,000 (pro-rata) plus benefitsA collaborative and supportive working environmentAn opportunity to add value and influence decision-making at a senior level
