Job Description

Full Time, Fixed Term for 12 months. The Bottle Yard Studios (TBYS) are successful Film & Television Studio facilities in South Bristol. Owned and operated by Bristol City Council, the business occupies two sites in close proximity and comprises of 11 film studios along with supporting production offices and ancillary workshops, stores and light industrial accommodation. We are seeking an enthusiastic Studios Runner to join our small but skilled Studios Management Team. Reporting to the Studio Manager, the role will;Assist with general admin & office tasks, supporting all The Bottle Yard Studios’ team to deliver effective day-to-day site management.

These tasks could include sorting of post and deliveries, taking and relaying phone messages, filing, scanning etcGenerally cover aspects of the Receptionist’s role, taking delegated responsibility in line with your grade, when he/she is absent/on holiday. Support the Bottle Yard team in facilitating the day to day needs of TBYS clients. These tasks could include setting up of offices, creating and putting up signage, directing clients, assisting with parking needs, etc. From time to time, assist productions with general runner duties during filming. Working with the Receptionist, meet and greet visitors appropriately & offer refreshments.

Help with preparation of client visits and meetings, and help with the preparation of site tours. No two days are the same at this busy site. There is an exciting opportunity for the post holder to really develop the role, prioritising your own workload and engaging in a varied range of tasks within an ever-changing environment and client base. Whilst the daily hours are fixed for this role and unfortunately this role is unsuitable for a job share.
