Higher Education Project SupportThe RoleTo provide administrative and logistical support to the Higher Education team in delivery of projects under the four programme pillars in GhanaMain Accountabilities But Not Limited To The FollowingTo effectively deliver products, services and networks to enable Ghana to achieve defined regional and local project outcomes. Event SupportProvide the administrative and “hands-on” support to ensure Higher Education events are run in accordance with British Council expectations.

Ensure branding and communications are in place, and that audience feedback is gathered and subsequently recordedMarketing And CommunicationsWork with the Regional Communications/Marketing Officer to ensure that Higher Education activities in Ghana, and across the British Council are communicated regularly and fully via digital platforms (website and social media). Ensure that projects are marketed to the highest standards in print (press, publications), digitally (websites, social media, TV, radio) and at events (conferences, workshops, meetings). Ensure that project documentation, agenda and correspondence are captured and stored safely. ProcurementEnsure supplier and procurement standards are maintained in all transactions and project activity.

Financial AdministrationProvide financial support to the project managers, including raising of purchase orders, getting quotes from suppliers, producing reports, tracking payments and correcting mis postingsAdministrative SupportAs required and delegated by the team membersAll these duties to be delivered in line with overarching British Council policies and procedures, including Equal Opportunities & Diversity, Information Management, Child Protection and any other relevant corporate policy. Requirements Of The RoleDegree or Higher EducationProficiency in English (reading, writing, listening, speaking)Teamwork- Track-record of working successfully as a member of a team to achieve goals, and of taking personal responsibility for specific project areas.

Relevant administration experience as well as experience of communicating digitally.
