Position SummaryAs a Business Development Manager, you will lead regional sales efforts and play a critical role in expanding Brock Canada’s market presence throughout British Columbia.
This role is focused on cultivating new opportunities and enhancing existing relationships through strategic networking, direct engagement, and market analysis. Key ResponsibilitiesDrive profitable regional growth in alignment with corporate strategy and business objectives. Identify and pursue new business opportunities while managing and growing existing accounts. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, operations teams, and corporate stakeholders. Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and emerging competitors. Assess potential business deals by evaluating market alignment, financial viability, and strategic fit. Lead the negotiation and execution of contracts and proposals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of contract requirements with operations. Represent Brock Canada at industry events, client meetings, and networking functions. Qualifications & ExperienceDiploma or degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (equivalent experience may be considered). Strong industry knowledge in scaffolding, insulation, and fireproofing services. Proven track record in business development or sales with consistent achievement of growth targets. Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and closing skills. Professional communication style with the ability to influence and build rapport across diverse audiences. Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Solid understanding of the BC industrial marketplace, including key clients and competitors. Willingness and ability to travel throughout BC as required.
