Our Client, a growing investment and operations platform in the renewable energy sector seeking a commercially minded and technically conversant professional to join their team in Frankfurt. In this role, you will be responsible for managing existing and future renewable energy projects (with a focus on onshore wind and solar PV), as well as contributing to investment evaluations and portfolio performance. Your Responsibilities: Identify, assess, and support the execution of new investment opportunities in renewable energy. Oversee development and construction-phase projects, including coordination of planning activities, construction works, and negotiation of key project agreements.
Take full ownership of operational assets within our international onshore wind and solar PV portfolio. Contribute to internal reporting, project controlling, and financial monitoring. Manage the payment workflows and cash management across project entities. Support strategic initiatives such as optimizing power purchase agreements and green certificate strategies across the portfolio. Your Qualifications: A university degree in business administration and/or engineering. Several years of relevant experience in the development or management of renewable energy projects. Solid understanding of technical terms and processes within the renewable energy industry. Your Personal Skills:
Strong team player with the ability to collaborate closely with technical and legal advisors, as well as local accountants and auditors. Structured, detail-oriented, and pragmatic approach to problem-solving with a high level of professionalism and discretion. Entrepreneurial mindset with a sense of ownership over your responsibilities. Fluent in English (German is a plus) and open to occasional international travel. Strong intercultural awareness.
