Broker – Property & Casualty

Details Management is seeking an experienced Broker - Manager to join our client, a leading Bermuda-based insurance organization's team. The successful candidate will be a proactive professional with a proven record of delivering first-class broking services, fostering strong client relationships, and driving business growth through strategic placement and market expertise.Key ResponsibilitiesManage new business placements, renewals, and mid-term adjustments.Develop and deliver presentations to secure new clients and strengthen existing relationships.Analyze client risk profiles and design optimal insurance solutions.Evaluate and negotiate market terms to achieve the best outcomes for clients.Provide coverage and program design advice, identifying gaps and recommending improvements.Maintain strong partnerships with local and international insurers and stakeholders.Support process improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of broking best practices.Oversee proposal preparation and ensure accuracy and contract certainty in documentation.Participate in client and underwriter meetings to enhance service delivery.Stay informed on emerging insurance products, market trends, and regulatory developments.Provide guidance and coaching to team members as needed.Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum of 5 years’ experience in the insurance industry, with strong property and casualty expertise.University degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field.Professional insurance designation (ACII, CPCU, or equivalent) preferred.In-depth knowledge of broking practices and multiple classes of insurance.Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance standards.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Strong analytical and decision-making abilities with a results-oriented mindset.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively.Willingness to travel internationally as required.For further information, please do not hesitate to contact Deepika Kumaraswamy or Donnie Francis via recruitment@details.bm or (441) 297 6000.Please be assured that we are dedicated to upholding the highest level of confidentiality.
