We’re seeking an experienced Instrumentation Engineer who excels in modifying and upgrading existing facilities with precision, safety, and minimal disruption. ,Our client is seeking a qualified Brownfield Instrumentation Engineer with extensive experience in offshore platform design and detailed engineering. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in an engineering company, with a proven track record of working with NAM/Shell standards and handling complex brownfield projects.
In this role, you will be responsible for assessing client requirements and as-built documentation, developing electrical and instrumentation deliverables, and preparing specifications, technical bid evaluations (TBE), and FAT procedures for field instrumentation, SCADA/DCS systems, telecommunications (CCTV, PAGA, LAN, WiFi), and Fire & Gas detection systems. You’ll provide input into 3D models, collaborate across disciplines, and coordinate closely with clients. Your expertise will support the preparation of various instrumentation design documents such as cable lists, block diagrams, termination and loop diagrams, and detailed layout drawings.
You will also contribute to demolition and modification designs, evaluate existing systems for reuse, and oversee procurement and vendor documentation.
