The Building Maintenance Electrician will be responsible for day-to-day electrical maintenance tasks, troubleshooting electrical issues, performing maintenance and repair work, and engaging in preventive maintenance to ensure the proper functioning of electrical systems within the building.Qualifications & Skills:Diploma or certification in Electrical Technology or equivalent trade qualification.Valid electrician’s license (as required by local regulations).Minimum 3–5 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical maintenance.Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety codes.Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.Good communication and teamwork abilities.Expertise in UPS, Solar Panel & Commercial Generators.Key Responsibilities:Perform electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations on lighting systems, power circuits, outlets, panels, and other electrical infrastructure.Inspect electrical components, wiring, and equipment to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.Respond promptly to maintenance requests, electrical faults, and power outages to minimize downtime.Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical systems according to established schedules.Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical schematics.Ensure all electrical work complies with local regulations, safety codes, and company standards.Replace or repair fixtures such as switches, wiring, and lighting systems.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.Collaborate with HVAC, plumbing, and general maintenance teams to ensure smooth facility operations.Provide support during electrical upgrades, renovations, and energy efficiency projects.
