Calor have an exciting opportunity within their Bulk Operations Department for a permanent position of a Bulk Delivery Driver. The role will be to deliver multi-fuel types to our customers both domestic, industrial and commercial. The role will be on a shift basis which comprises of early morning shift, day shift and/or afternoon shift on a rotational basis working any 5 over 7 days (includes weekends).THE JOBCarry out a pre and post shift driver walk around vehicle H&S check prior to departure from Depot. Deliver LPG, LNG and other fuel types in line with Calor procedures on single or multi drop basis to domestic, industrial and commercial customersDrive in a safe and efficient manner and abiding by the rules of the highway codeDeliver product using on board computer system recording accurate informationAttend training and participate in regular assessments. Refuel vehicles following or prior to shift and in line with the refuelling processMaintain cleanliness of vehicle including cab interiorReport accidents, incidents, and safety concerns immediately in line with company procedures. Complete all Near Miss reporting as requiredProduce licences for inspection when requestedMaintain and process daily administration and submit at the end of the shiftFollow procedures as laid out in the driver's manual and the training manualAssist with training other drivers as requiredAbility to work a flexible schedule with possible after-hours emergency callsAbility to communicate clearly and effectivelyComplete minor yard duties as requiredAssist other drivers as a helper when requiredWork within the legal parameters of driver hours and working time directive legislation, being fully compliant with tachograph and break requirementsFlexibility and availability for early and late start and finishing times, for example early starts can be from 4.00hrs and late starts can be from 18.00hrsOperation of all technology in the trucksTo deliver excellence in customer experience (CX) by embodying Calor's values and upholding the standards of accountability, seamless service, and curiosityEnsure that health and safety of yourself and your colleagues is a priority in everything that you do - log Health and Safety conversations, as appropriate focusing on either an ‘unsafe condition' where we see something that could cause injury to a person or an ‘unsafe act' which is something that someone does that can lead to injury.
