Summary We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Electrical Commissioning Engineer, who will be responsible for overseeing the development of test scripts and the testing of complex electrical infrastructure products and systems. Duties and Responsibilities We provide engineering and technical support for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and performing commissioning of the entire life cycle of critical facilities. Participate in the MEP design process.

Witness static and dynamic testing of complex mechanical, electrical, control systems, and operate the system in normal, maintenance and failure modes of operation by performing the following missions -Should have advanced experience in live components, three- phase AC power systems (HV /MV / LV), and direct current (DC) power systemsPerform the test procedureCreate the minutes of the meetingWorking with basic test equipment such as power quality analysers and oscilloscopesInteract with the contractor to interpret the design and specificationsKnowledge of engineering principlesStrong understanding of machinery, principles, and complete knowledge of major areasAbility to write functional performance test scripting and integrated system test proceduresKnowledge of electrical and mechanical systems from an operational perspectiveAbility to interact / work, represent customers and maintain the highest professional standardsConduct on-site observation surveys, create field reports on project status, and project completion regarding compliance with plans and specificationsCreate a punch list report to determine corrective actions for field problemsCreate a general condition survey reportFamiliarize yourself with technical standards / standards, local project regulations, construction practices and the latest equipment functional conceptsUnderstand yourself and follow the safety requirements of all projects, including specific site regulationsPerform routine calculationsParticipate in specialized engineering associations and academic societiesAs a project coordinator with other field engineers, coordinate printing, presentation, and management proceduresReview project drawings and submissionsDevelop a MEP test procedureDevelop the operating procedure of MEPRespond to RFIs when requested by the PM teamPerforms various management tasksUnderstanding test run levels and standardsPerform other assigned duties Similar work experience and skillsThe candidate should have worked on the heavy commercial / industrial electrical system / installation of the sub-system, commissioning, testing, there is a need to have a troubleshooting, and maintenance of experience and knowledge.

Candidates must have experience and knowledge of the following electrical systems -Power System / Subsystem – HV / MV / LVDistribution system / unit (high voltage / medium voltage experience)Electrical protection system / schemeTransformers and generatorsSwitchgear (PDU, UPS wrap around, distribution gear with source change function)UPS / STS moduleGeneral understanding of modern power conversion systems such as transistor-based conversionAbility to interpret raw signal data and processing such as UPS/ generator waveformsControl system / EPMS system / SCADA / PLCGrounding and instrumentationKnowledge of load bank calculationKnowledge of networks and communication systems such as BACNET, Modbus, Ethernet QualificationsEducation: A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required.
