Job Description:Summary:The Change Management Analyst will interface and communicate with application teams, development teams and project managers. Responsibilities include: assessing risk, evaluating change impact, ensuring that resources are aligned and facilitating the authorization of Change Records. This position will report into the Senior Director of GF Engineering & Operations Shared Services. The incumbent must be confident, based on previous experience, in managing, coordinating and providing KPI reports.Skills Domain: SDLC and ITIL best practices Technical knowledge of software development and IT component deploymentExpert knowledge of and hands-on experience in Change Management Principles and SDLCExperience with agile methodologies including sprints, stories, Kanban approach and othersJob Responsibilities:The Change Management Analyst will ensure that all software, platform and technology releases within Group Functions adhere to the corporate standard on release management.Assist the Change Management managers in reviewing and administration of CAB meetings.Assist various application teams in planning the release of project deliverables and release life cycle.Communicate the overall release schedule, inter-dependencies, and necessary coordination between different teams. Communicate with release managers from different IT departments.Coordinate the release schedule and resources required depending upon the third-party applications, defect backlogs, planned releases, and infrastructure updates.Identify the risks that can delay the release. Assist the application teams in managing those risks ensuring mitigation while maintaining the scope scheduled, and quality of the release are not affected.Publish weekly updates on the release activities. Track the progress and find issues, if any.Always work to improve the process of managing releases.Schedule the release readiness reviews before deployment and milestone reviews after each release. Schedule the CAB meetings to discuss the release schedules with the application teams and identify roadblocks.Ensure the allocation of Release Engineers to every release.Lead the Go-Live activities to deploy the software successfully.Team up with relevant development teams responsible for building the automation tools used to develop and deploy the software.Maintain documentation related to procedures on build and release, various notification lists, and dependencies.Make improvements in the methodologies used for configuration management and development of software that helps to find ways to use in configuration management.Qualifications3+ years of experience in Change Management, Release management, code promotion and requirements managementB.S. in Computer Science or an equivalent degreeExperience in working with DevOps and Agile methodologies including Scrum, Waterfall, or KanbanKnowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CD/CI) pipelinesExpert knowledge of Software Development LifecycleTeam management skillsExperience in the use of Jira, Git, and Visual Studio Release Management.Good understanding of application infrastructure, system architecture, and operating systemITIL V3 + certificationAmenable to work on a hybrid set-up (3x a week onsite)Soft Skills:Excellent communication skillsManaging crucial conversationsInfluencing and Leadership skillsProblem-solving and analytics skillsTeam building and time management skillsCollaborative spiritStory Behind the Need – Business Group & Key Projects:Key Projects/Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Change management analyst role, working with other developers to manage change implementation, change requests, and everything within change management.Must-Have Skills:Change managementExperience using DevOps and Agile methodologiesKnowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous DeliveryExpert knowledge of Software Development LifecycleITIL V3 + certificationNice-to-have Skills:Excellent communication skillsManaging crucial conversationsInfluencing and Leadership SkillsYears of Experience: 3+ years of experience in Change Management, Release management, code promotion and requirements managementDegrees/Certifications Required: B.S. in Computer Science or an equivalent degree
