Business Analyst, Capital Markets - Regulatory & Securities Lending:On behalf of our Capital Markets client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst, Capital Markets - Regulatory & Securities Lending for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.Business Analyst, Capital Markets - Regulatory & Securities Lending - Job Description:The project focuses on ensuring compliance with the upcoming SEC regulation 10c-1a, applicable to Securities Lending transactions, and is considered the US equivalent of SFTR. The Business Analyst will work closely with the capital markets global business market team to meet these regulatory requirements.Business Analyst, Capital Markets - Regulatory & Securities Lending - Responsibilities:• Soliciting and writing business requirements in response to the regulation• Executing and creating test cases• Defining business solutions for the requirements• Building controls around the solution (process, database solution)• Reading rules and understanding business requirements, writing test cases• Interacting with stakeholders: Technology group, compliance, legal, and other business stakeholders (confirmations, settlements)• Participating in meetings/working groups to understand how everything comes together and the overall impactBusiness Analyst, Capital Markets - Regulatory & Securities Lending - Mandatory Skills:• 8+ years of relevant work experience• 5+ years of recent experience as a Senior Business Analyst• 5+ years of Capital Markets experience - Preferably Prime Services or Securities Lending background• 3+ years of experience in working on regulatory projects for equivalent regulations like SFTR, CAT, FINRA, TRACE, or CIRO trade Reporting• Experience with Prime Services and Securities Lending products• Well-balanced understanding of regulations in business and technologyBusiness Analyst, Capital Markets - Regulatory & Securities Lending – Nice-to-Have Skills:• Knowledge of 10c-1a rules• Working experience and knowledge of systems such as Anvil and Global OneBusiness Analyst, Capital Markets - Regulatory & Securities Lending – Assignment Length:This is a 12-month contract position with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.Business Analyst, Capital Markets - Regulatory & Securities Lending - Start Date:ASAPBusiness Analyst, Capital Markets - Regulatory & Securities Lending - Assignment Location:Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days in-office, which may increase to 4 days in the future.
