Job Title: Functional Business AnalystLocation: Belgium (Hybrid / On-site depending on client needs)Contract Type: Freelance / ContractDuration: 6-12 months (with possible extensions)Start Date: ASAP ]Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced Functional Business Analyst for a contract opportunity with one of our key clients in Belgium. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in translating business needs into functional specifications, bridging the gap between stakeholders and development teams.Key Responsibilities:Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirementsLiaise with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into clear technical documentationWork closely with developers, testers, and project managers to ensure successful deliveryAssist in the design and improvement of business processes and systemsConduct functional testing and support UAT phasesPrepare user documentation and provide training when neededRequirements:Proven experience as a Functional Business Analyst, ideally within complex IT or digital transformation projectsStrong knowledge of business analysis methodologies and toolsExcellent communication skills in English; knowledge of French or Dutch is a strong assetExperience in sectors such as banking, insurance, telecom, or public sector is a plusAbility to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environmentNice to Have:Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologiesPrevious experience working in Belgium or within Belgian/European regulationsIf you’re a skilled Functional Business Analyst looking for your next contract in Belgium, we’d love to hear from you.
