Business Analyst

Job FunctionThe Business Analyst will form part of our continuous improvement team at the client site. This team aims to provide 4PL Operations and the client with relevant reports, information, and decision support to aid in operations and cost-saving initiatives, as well as to identify, test, and implement such initiatives. Key Performance AreasInvestigations: Investigate operational and internal processes to determine the root cause of cost drivers and inefficienciesData Analysis & Reporting: Conduct comprehensive data analysis to support business decision-making. Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BIProjects: Identifying areas for process improvement, design a solution and manage projects to deliveryCritical Thinking: Apply critical thinking skills to analyze data trends, identify anomalies, and provide actionable insightsCollaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and deliver accurate, timely insightsData Quality Assurance: Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency by implementing best practices in data management. Qualifications RequiredBEng/BSc Industrial Engineering, BCom Informatics/IS Management, or a similar field. Skills and Experience RequiredMinimum of 5 years’ experience in data analysis/process improvement. Experience in the FMCG industry and transport routing/scheduling beneficial.
