Business Analyst

Role: Business AnalystType: Contract (B2B)Location: Barcelona, SpainBusiness Analyst FocusCollaborate with Product Owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to gather, document, and refine business requirements.Lead backlog refinement sessions, ensuring all user stories meet the Definition of Ready (DoR) and include clear acceptance criteria.Analyze business and user data to provide insights that support decision-making and feature prioritization.Translate complex business needs into structured, testable user stories in JIRA, aligned with product goals and strategy.Partner with UX, Developers, and Product Analysts to prepare features for delivery, ensuring high business and user value.RequirementsProven experience as a Business Analyst, Scrum Master, or hybrid Agile practitioner.Strong understanding of Agile delivery frameworks (Scrum/Kanban) and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise user stories and effectively lead backlog refinement.Skilled in facilitating discussions, driving consensus, and leading through influence.Familiarity with data-driven product environments and reporting/analytics tools (e.g., dashboards, BI tools).Experience working in global, cross-functional teams across time zones.QualificationsRelevant Agile certifications (e.g., PSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP, or BCS Business Analysis).Knowledge of data pipelines, AI/ML products, or experience supporting UX/UI teams is advantageous.
