Role OverviewThe AWF Cosmic FBA role is responsible for driving business-technology alignment, leading capability and requirements definition, managing key stakeholder relationships, and ensuring successful delivery of AML workflow solutions within the organization. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in bridging business and technology functions to support strategic compliance and operational objectives across the Group.Key Responsibilities1. Stakeholder Relationship ManagementBuild strategic relationships and alliances with key internal and external stakeholders to achieve common goals.Drive alignment between technology solutions and business needs.Inspire and influence stakeholders to adopt and support the organization’s technology vision.Manage evolving stakeholder priorities and ensure continuous engagement throughout project lifecycles.2. Capabilities and Requirements Analysis & DefinitionCollaborate with project managers, business analysts, technology teams, and domain architects to map out delivery roadmaps, capabilities, and architecture views.Work with stakeholders across Group (Singapore and regional) to gather and validate business requirements, focusing on enterprise-wide AML investigation workflow capabilities.Lead analysis and documentation of future-state business and operations processes based on agreed requirements.Conduct impact assessments and support detailed definition of functional and non-functional requirements.Partner with technology teams to ensure smooth transition from requirements to design and delivery.Support funding requests, ensuring alignment with strategy, roadmap, and target architecture.Monitor risks and issues related to requirements, scope, and delivery timelines.Collaborate with Group Information Security to ensure integration of security requirements into design and implementation.3. Testing & Scope ManagementWork with the Testing Domain Lead and Test Managers to translate business requirements into test strategies and plans.Support project teams in clarifying test findings, particularly those requiring design or requirement changes.Review change requests and assess their impact on cost, scope, and schedule.Ensure all changes adhere to established program governance and approval processes.Partner with stakeholders to ensure compliance with the System Development Methodology (SDM) framework and governance standards for technology-led change initiatives.4. Post Go-Live SupportEnsure knowledge retention and subject matter expertise through structured “train-the-trainer” sessions and comprehensive documentation.Support continuous improvement and operational excellence post-implementation.Job RequirementsExperience & ExpertiseOver 10 years of relevant banking or financial industry experience (equivalent experience and skills also considered).Deep understanding of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) investigations and Know Your Customer (KYC) principles.Experience in AML/CFT, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery & Corruption, and Fraud within banking, insurance, or asset management sectors.Strong knowledge of global regulatory frameworks and evolving regulatory expectations.Proven experience in change management and project management fundamentals.Skilled in scoping and evaluation, including considerations around scalability, maintainability, cost, and operational risk.Hands-on experience with workflow platforms; familiarity with Actimize, Detica, or Quantexa is highly advantageous.Skills & CompetenciesStrong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to translate insights into actionable solutions.Solid understanding of technology and operational processes across banking functions.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to manage ambiguity and diverse viewpoints.Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business strategy into actionable plans.Strong leadership and collaboration skills; capable of motivating diverse teams and handling challenging discussions effectively.Commitment to fostering a learning and growth-oriented environment, promoting development through shared experiences.Outstanding influencing, negotiation, and persuasion skills.Passionate, resourceful, and resilient individual who thrives in complex and dynamic environments.EducationTertiary qualification in Engineering, Technology, Business, or Finance, or equivalent professional experience.
