Business Analyst (F&R Reporting)

We are looking for…A senior Business Analyst to join our client's Finance and Risk data domain within their Mortgages group.A propfessional who can act as the primary interface between reporting specialists and technical data engineers, ensuring that financial data is accurately captured and reported.About the roleAs a Business Analyst, you are responsible for the end-to-end translation of reporting needs into technical data specifications. You will work within an Agile/Scrum environment, collaborating closely with the Product Owner and a team of six data engineers.You will:Gather and refine requirements from reporting specialists and accounting stakeholders.Perform deep-dive data analysis using SQL to validate the work of engineers and test implementation.Act as the primary bridge: translating accounting/reporting language into technical specifications and vice versa.Advise the Product Owner on the roadmap for reporting data and model development.Responsibilities:Focus on the integrity and structure of reporting data and model development.Ensure data solutions meet the specific needs of reporting specialists.Who are you?ExperienceSenior Level: Proven track record in business analysis within a Finance, Risk, or Accounting environment.Domain Knowledge: Background in accounting or reporting data.Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience writing SQL queries to analyze, validate, and test data is essential for this role.ProfileAnalytical Mindset: You are highly intelligent and enjoy the "nitty-gritty" of data management and validation.Reporting Specialist Language: You have the ability to speak the language of accounting and reporting specialists effectively.Language Skills: Excellent command of English and Dutch is required for documentation.Collaborative: You thrive in an open, friendly culture where team members are committed to collective goals and high standards.
