In the role as Business Analyst in GN's Operational Excellence team you will contribute to our purpose of implementing process excellence initiatives. In this pivotal role you will combine business insight, stakeholder management and practical analytics to empower management with clear, data-driven recommendations. You will develop and maintain Power BI solutions, prepare business cases and management presentations, perform ad-hoc analyses to support decision-making, and work closely with DDI to ensure a robust data foundation that supports the organization’s needs. You will also collaborate with various teams to gather data and understand reporting needs, facilitating effective communication and alignment on operational goals and performance metrics.The team you will be part ofOperational Excellence team is a newly established team, supporting our EMEA Regional Operations in process automation, data analysis and reporting, as well as process excellence initiatives. You will report to Head of Operational Excellence Tatjana Matthaiou, however, your daily work will be with your team and internal and external stakeholders.Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:Design, build and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that reflect business processes and stakeholder needsDevelop new Power BI reports and update existing ones as priorities and processes changePrepare clear PowerPoint slide decks and business review materials for the management teamHelp prepare business cases and simple cost/benefit analyses to support project proposals and prioritizationCarry out ad-hoc data analysis to answer business questions and support operational decision.Work with DDI to ensure data models, pipelines and warehouses meet reporting and analytics needs in accordance with best practicesSupport KPI definition and help build/maintain KPI dashboards for transparent performance trackingHelp ensure consistent data definitions across functions and flag data quality issuesManage multiple requests and communicate progress and timelines to stakeholdersTo perform well in the role, we imagine that you Interest in combining business problems with practical analytics and presenting clear recommendations to stakeholdersAre able to communicate effectively and maintain relationships with numerous stakeholdersSolid foundational technical skills: Proficient with Power BI (or similar tools) and comfortable learning data modelling concepts for extracting and working with dataInterest in data warehouses and enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Azure) and motivated to learn how data architecture supports reportingHave experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulationComfortable preparing professional PowerPoint presentations and explaining analyses to non-technical audiences.Able to perform ad-hoc analyses and turn findings into actionable suggestionsAble to prioritize by business value, handle multiple requests, and work in an evolving environmentCritical reasoning skills and a keen eye for detailCollaborative mindset and willingness to learn from colleagues across international, cross-functional teamsRelevant degree or equivalent experience in business, analytics, data, supply chain or a related field is welcomeAt GN we pride ourselves on encouraging flexible working whenever possible.
