This role provides unique exposure to market and liquidity risk metrics, regulatory change management, and collaboration with stakeholders across the organization.You will act as a key contributor to projects enhancing the firm’s risk management infrastructure, ensuring data accuracy, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency in alignment with corporate risk appetite and governance frameworks.Key Responsibilities:Support the Liquidity Risk Management function through analysis, reporting, and process enhancements.Measure and monitor risk metrics including LCR, NCCF, NSFR, and Stress Scenarios.Provide commentary on daily, weekly, and monthly risk reports; escalate issues as required.Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand system and model changes and their impact on risk and valuation processes.Participate in projects aimed at improving the risk reporting infrastructure and efficiency.Analyze data, identify anomalies, and propose innovative solutions to enhance reporting accuracy.Document business requirements, conduct testing, and validate results in partnership with technology teams.Assist management in recruitment and onboarding of analysts, providing mentorship and process support.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying automation opportunities.Required Experience:3-5 years of experience in financial risk management, liquidity, or regulatory reporting.Strong understanding of market and liquidity risk metrics such as LCR, NCCF, and NSFR.Knowledge of financial instruments, regulations, and risk metrics.Advanced Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Nice-to-Have Experience:Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.CFA or FRM designation (or in progress).Experience with Risk, Valuation, or Reporting Systems.Familiarity with VBA, Python, SQL, or Alteryx for risk data automation.Required Skills:Liquidity & Market Risk AnalysisRisk Reporting & Regulatory ComplianceData Validation & Financial ModelingPreferred Skills:Python / SQL / Alteryx AutomationProject Management & Change SupportCross-Functional CollaborationAdditional Skills from Original Description:Stakeholder communication and reportingRisk and P&L valuation reviewBusiness process improvement initiativesEducation:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field required.About the Client:Top 10 banks in Canada and North America offering comprehensive financial solutions.
