📌 Role SummaryWe are seeking a Business Analyst with strong experience in the banking environment, focusing on requirements gathering, user stories, testing support and change management. The ideal candidate will work closely with business users, product owners, and technical teams to ensure clear documentation, smooth delivery, and successful rollout of banking solutions in an Agile environment.📌 Key ResponsibilitiesGather, analyse, and document business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into functional specifications, process flows, and user stories.Work closely with developers, QA, and product teams to ensure business needs are clearly understood and implemented.Participate in SIT and UAT phases, including preparing test scenarios, reviewing test cases, validating results, logging defects, and supporting users until sign-off.Perform gap analysis, impact analysis, and workflow mapping (BPMN or equivalent) to support solution design.Assist in change request evaluation, including effort estimation, impact assessment, prioritisation, and approvals.Support end users by clarifying requirements, troubleshooting system issues, and reviewing logs/API behaviour during testing or production support.Ensure deliverables meet banking compliance, quality standards, and SLA expectations.Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, retrospectives).Prepare and maintain project-related documentation including BRD, FSD, user stories, test scenarios, training materials, and release notes.Coordinate with business stakeholders, product owners, and vendors for smooth execution and implementation.📌 RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.2–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a banking or financial services environment.Hands-on experience in SDLC, Agile/Scrum, requirement gathering, UI/UX understanding, and documentation.Practical experience in SIT/UAT, including test planning, execution, and defect tracking.Strong knowledge of user stories, process flows, and functional design.Experience with JIRA, Confluence or similar BA/Agile tools.Good understanding of banking processes (Loans, LOS, Payments, Cards, Compliance or Core Banking).Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of SQL, XML or API behavior is an added advantage.
