Business Analyst

Our Investment Management client is looking to hire a Contract Business Analyst who has experience of Performance and Attribution modelling across Portfolio Analytics services About the RoleThe Business Analyst will be responsible for production of detailed specifications of the models required to support the attribution services required, and will be directly involved in the implementation of these services with the required buy or build capabilities.This role covers the analysis for operating target model performance, specifically the definition of the attribution model requirements to support each desk strategy.You must have direct experience of defining requirements for attribution projects ResponsibilitiesMaintain an understanding of the requirements for performance, attribution and portfolio analytics servicesDeliver business analysis for assigned projects, using the appropriate analysis artefacts to includeUse Cases and Activity Diagrams (Agile user stories )Agreement of detailed business requirements with the businessProduction of functional specificationsPresentation of requirements to Architects and developers to arrive at appropriate technical solutions and cost estimatesPreparation of project business cases and project briefs and demonstrating the relationship between the projects and strategyProviding analysis on defects and changing requirements as projects progress, ensure such defects and/or changes are tracked on defect tracking systemContribution to the evolution of the project lifecycle methodologyIn addition to the successful candidate may be expected to:Maintain an understanding of the Data Management Office and Investment Operation’s business strategyContribute to the development of the DMO application strategyBe proactive in the identification of opportunities for technology to aid the business line.TestingWill be required to ensure that business analysis requirements are reflected correctly as test conditions within the test control application (in Jira).Supporting the users in executing testing against User Acceptance Test conditions.Pay range and compensation packageDay Rate, inside IR35Equal Opportunity StatementOur Client is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive work environment throughout their organisation.
