We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our client’s Life Insurance division, working within a dynamic transformation team driving digital innovation and regulatory excellence. You’ll play a key role in automating and optimizing KYC and AML processes, ensuring compliance while enhancing operational efficiency across life insurance activities.Role OverviewAs a Life Insurance Business Analyst, you’ll collaborate closely with business, IT, and compliance teams to analyze, define, and improve processes and data flows related to client onboarding and monitoring. You’ll translate business needs into actionable solutions and ensure seamless alignment between technical and operational stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalysis and Process DesignAnalyze KYC and AML processes, identifying improvement and automation opportunitiesDefine business requirements and document them according to established quality standardsAssess process and data impacts related to regulatory initiativesEnsure clear communication and mutual understanding between business and IT teamsTesting and ValidationPrepare and execute tests related to process flows and calculationsValidate business rules and ensure accurate implementation of requirementsMonitoring and CollaborationAct as a bridge between operational and IT stakeholdersProvide regular reporting on progress and risksFoster strong relationships with internal teams (Operations, Compliance, Distribution, IT) and external partnersThe Ideal CandidateRegulatory and Industry KnowledgeSolid understanding of KYC/AML regulations and their application in life insuranceExperience with identity verification and client due diligence processesBusiness and Process AnalysisProven experience as a Business Analyst within the insurance or banking sectorFamiliarity with standard business analysis methodologies and process mappingKnowledge of the life insurance contract lifecycle and value chainStrong analytical mindset with the ability to challenge requirements and propose improvementsSkilled at translating business needs into clear, actionable input for technical teamsTechnical and Data AwarenessUnderstanding of data constraints, service-oriented architectures, and API/microservice environmentsKnowledge of automation tools and solutionsAble to bridge business requirements with IT deliverySoft SkillsExcellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholdersStructured, organized, and proactive with strong problem-solving abilitiesTeam-oriented and adaptable, with a hands-on and can-do mindsetFluent in French and English; Dutch is a plusEducation And ExperienceUniversity degree in mathematics, economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the life insurance or financial services sector
