Business Analyst

📍 BGC, Taguig 🖥 Hybrid (3 days onsite per week) ⏰ APAC ShiftWe’re looking for a Business Analyst to join the Program Delivery – Data Analytics Team of a leading global player in the Capital Markets industry. This role is perfect for someone analytical, detail-driven, and experienced in OTC markets and data-focused environments.You will act as a key link between business and technology teams—designing data solutions, analysing trade and order flows, documenting data lineage, and supporting the delivery of regulatory and commercial projects within an Agile setup.What You’ll Do:Gather and refine requirements, translating them into clear user stories and functional documentation.Partner with Project Managers, Data Scientists, Product Leads, and Engineering teams to deliver robust, commercially viable data products.Map and analyse complex data flows, identifying inconsistencies and gaps across systems.Produce process and data flow diagrams (BPMN, swim lanes, DFDs) for effective communication and solution design.Work alongside Order and Trade Management teams to align and improve data structures.Ensure requirement traceability and support the Agile delivery lifecycle.Develop and execute test plans to validate data integrity and business logic.Facilitate workshops, provide project updates, and help manage cross-team dependencies.What You’ll Bring: Strong background in OTC market data and regulatory technologies (MiFID, MAR, FRTB).Understanding of trade, order, and execution lifecycles, with emphasis on data/messaging.Proficient in Agile methodologies, JIRA, Confluence, and rapid prototyping.Advanced Excel and SQL skills; strong PowerPoint and Word proficiency.Excellent communication skills—able to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Highly organised, detailed, and able to manage several workstreams simultaneously.Preferred QualificationsAt least 3 years of experience in the market data or financial services industry.Strong market data and capital markets background.Experience with Inter-Dealer Broker execution methods (e.g., CLOB, auctions).Cross-asset exposure across Rates, FX, Energy & Commodities, Fixed Income, or Credit.Knowledge of Python or R.Familiarity with FIX protocols and JSON message formats.Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, EKS, GCP, Snowflake, ThoughtSpot).Business Analysis certifications (AgileBA, PM-BMA, CBAP).
