About the jobThe ideal candidate is a team player who will be responsible for working with company data in various business areas. Specific responsibilities include reporting metrics, analyzing methodologies, suggesting operation improvements, and building proposal evaluations in a cross-functional environment.ResponsibilitiesRequirements Gathering and Analysis: Elicit, document, and manage business requirements from various stakeholders. Analyze and translate business needs into functional and non-functional specifications.Process Improvement: Analyze current business processes, identify gaps, and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the insurance domain.Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact between business units and IT teams. Facilitate communication, manage expectations, and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.Solution Design: Collaborate with solution architects and developers to design and validate solutions that meet business requirements.Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop test cases and support the testing team to ensure the final product meets the defined business needs.Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.Domain Expertise: Apply in-depth knowledge of Medical and Healthcare Insurance, including claims processing, policy administration, underwriting, and regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA, ACA). A strong understanding of Life Insurance products, policy lifecycle, and actuarial processes is also essential.QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceOverall 5 to 7 years of tech/domain experienceFluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)Strong written, verbal and collaboration skillsExperience in Medical/Healthcare Insurance mandatoryExperience in Life Insurance is a plusRole:This will be a contractual 1 year renewable role.
