MES expertise is a MUST for this position!!!! Job PurposeThe Global Business Owner (GBO) MES is responsible for overseeing the implementation and roll-out of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) project. This role is critical for ensuring GMP compliance and supports the company growth by enabling data-driven decision-making, lead time reduction, and process efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Global Business Process Management:Ensure the approved MES template is applied consistently across all sites in the Vx network. Collaborate with Global Functions and GSME to manage any deviations from the business rules and key practices.MES Functionality Maintenance:Manage and maintain the core libraries of MES functionalities to ensure they are up-to-date and aligned with operational needs.Gap Analysis & Integration:Conduct gap analyses and propose solutions for the integration of MES with other business processes. Ensure changes do not disrupt existing workflows in non-MES areas.Training & Knowledge Transfer:Provide coaching and resources to train local trainers on MES business flows. Support the development of training materials and manuals, ensuring all relevant personnel are adequately trained.Third-Line Help Desk Support:Act as a third-line help desk for MES-related queries, troubleshooting issues and providing guidance to resolve challenges.Documentation Management:Keep all relevant MES documentation updated, validated, and in line with internal and regulatory standards.Change Management:Manage system change requests related to MES, ensuring global communication and implementation.Community of Practice Support:Assist the GBO Head in leading Communities of Practice and managing demand with Local BPMs and SMEs to ensure alignment and knowledge sharing.Business Process Risk Assessment:Participate in business process risk assessments to ensure compliance and mitigate potential risks.Required Knowledge, Education & ExperienceEducational Background:Minimum: Bachelor’s degree (3-year University Degree) in Supply Chain, Business Management, IT, or Production.Preferred: Further studies or specialization in Logistics, IT, or Digital Solutions.Experience Required:At least 3 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations, QA, QC, supply chain, or technical services.Proven ability to work with autonomy, excellent judgment, and a strong understanding of business processes.Other Skills/Background:Fluent in English Experience with ERP systems and critical master data managementExperience in pharma is an assetExpertise with EMS!!!Strong planning, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skillsExperience working in a multicultural environment with a teamwork approach
