Job Description
As a Digital Business Analyst & Test Lead, you will partner closely with the PeopleComms Tech Enablement Lead, our Centers of Excellence and IT Partners, to support requirements elicitation and own the test strategy, execution oversight, and defect management for PeopleComms technology initiatives. You’ll collaborate with global stakeholders, analyze workflows, and ensure successful delivery and continuous improvement across projects, incremental enhancements, and BAU. What you’ll do Partner on requirements & design • Facilitate discovery with business/HR partners; analyze and document business & user requirements and acceptance criteria in partnership with the Enablement Lead and CoE. • Prepare/update functional specs, process maps, and UI/UX validation against agreed standards and personas using human centered design practices. Own test strategy & execution oversight • Define risk based test strategies (functional & non functional) including scope, entry/exit criteria, coverage targets, and reporting. • Create/maintain test plans, suites, and requirements to test traceability (RTM); build and curate regression suites for repeatable, reliable releases. • Coordinate test execution across system, integration, UAT, and release/regression cycles; ensure evidence capture and auditability. UAT orchestration & release readiness • Plan and lead UAT (scripts, data, participant readiness), align on acceptance criteria, facilitate triage & sign off, and support hypercare for early defect containment. • Support vendor release assessment, testing and contribute to change management activities Defect triage, metrics & reporting • Run defect triage with severity/priority guidelines; drive cross team resolution with product, platform, and vendor partners. • Publish quality metrics (coverage, pass rate, defect) and insights that inform continuous improvement in partnership with Project Management Office. Non functional coordination • Coordinate (with platform/security/UX teams) accessibility, performance, security/privacy, and reliability checks appropriate to HR SaaS and integrations. Environments & test data readiness • Align environment plans, test schedules, and release calendars; ensure synthetic/anonymized test data is used in non production to protect confidentiality. Continuous improvement & knowledge • Identify and implement process/documentation improvements (playbooks, templates, checklists, knowledge articles) to enhance quality, and colleague experience. Need HR domain experience. Understand talent of HR portfolio to help them be effective in this role Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills: 1. 3+ years in a Business Systems Analyst or HR Systems capacity supporting enterprise HR/PeopleComms technology (projects and BAU). 2. Hands on Test Lead experience owning test strategy, planning, execution oversight, and defect management/triage. 3. Experience with HR SaaS platforms such as Workday, Cornerstone, EdCast, Gallup, Workhuman, or similar. 4. Practical knowledge of SDLC (agile and/or waterfall), and functional/non functional test methodologies (user acceptance, system/integration, release/regression). 5. Proficiency with test & defect management tools (e.g., Test Plans/Xray, JIRA) 6. Strong facilitation and communication skills; comfortable leading workshops, UAT sessions, and triage with global stakeholders. Nice to have 1. Human Centered Design exposure, CHRP/CHRL, or PMP. 2. Familiarity with accessibility testing practices, performance testing concepts, and HR data privacy standards. 3. Experience coordinating with vendors/managed services within HR tech ecosystems. 4. Configuration or Coding experience Education: • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
