Business Analyst (Trade Finance)

Through engineering expertise and industry insight, our international offices deliver tailored solutions, enabling clients worldwide to achieve their business goals with flexibility, speed, and impactful results.We are looking for Business Analyst for our client in the banking industry in Germany.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analysis & DesignGather, analyze, and document functional/non-functional business requirements.Collaborate with teams and validate IT solutions.Support integration with core banking, compliance, and payment systems.Implementation & SupportLead or assist with system setup, test and post-implementation reviews.Provide second-line production support and troubleshoot system issues.Communicate project progress and coordinate with vendors and partners.Documentation & ComplianceMaintain business process and user documentation.Ensure adherence to IT governance and Trade Finance regulations.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in IT, Finance or Engineering.5+ years as a Business Analyst in banking or Trade Finance.Strong knowledge of Trade Finance products (LCs, Guarantees, Discounting).Experience with Trade Finance systems (e.g. Surecomp, Finastra, Eximbills).Skills in SQL, data analysis (Excel/Power BI), and API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI).Trade Finance certifications (CDCS/CSDG) are a plus.Key CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent English and German is a plus. Communication and interpersonal skills.Detail-oriented, proactive, and customer-focused.Able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
