Job SummaryWe are looking for a Business Analyst to join an organization in the hospitality industry. This role is key to driving digital transformation and improving customer experiences, working on a long-term initiatives and expansion.You will conduct business analysis, apply design thinking to develop user-focused solutions, and turn business needs into clear system requirements.Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll identify process improvements, solve complex problems, and ensure solutions align with business goals and IT standards.Mandatory Skill-setBachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;Must have solid experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role in an IT environment for more than 8 years, with experience in business transformation involvement;Familiar with various project methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall);Must have familiarity and skills in using tools like Jira, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, or Balsami;Must have skills in user-focused design and problem-solving;Must have the ability to write clear and detailed system requirements, understand business needs and uncover root issues;Experienced in improving processes for better efficiency;Strong analytical thinking and solution-focused mindset;Effective at working with stakeholders and building trust;Understands technical concepts and works well with IT teams;Clear communicator with strong presentation and facilitation skills.Desired Skill-setCCBA or CBAP (Business Analysis certifications);PSM or PSPO (Scrum certifications).ResponsibilitiesAs a Business Analyst, you will help translate business needs into IT solutions, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and focusing on delivering value;Conduct in-depth analysis by engaging stakeholders to understand goals, challenges, and pain points with a customer-first mindset;Apply Design Thinking to explore user needs, generate innovative ideas, and prototype human-centered solutions;Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and digital transformation;Facilitate workshops, brainstorming sessions, and interviews to uncover problems and define solutions collaboratively;Translate business needs into clear, detailed, and testable requirements, user stories, and use cases;Prepare and manage documentation such as BRDs, functional specs, process flows, data models, and UAT plans;Analyze current processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements;Collaborate with technical teams to develop scalable, sustainable solutions throughout the software lifecycle;Assist in preparing test plans and test cases, and support UAT to ensure solutions meet business needs.Should you be interested in this career opportunity, please send in your updated resume to apply@sciente.com at the earliest.When you apply, you voluntarily consent to the disclosure, collection and use of your personal data for employment/recruitment and related purposes in accordance with the SCIENTE Group Privacy Policy, a copy of which is published at SCIENTE’s website (https://www.sciente.com/privacy-policy).Confidentiality is assured, and only shortlisted candidates will be notified for interviews.EA Licence No. 07C5639
